Meet the inspiration

This journey began with a spark of inspiration from my little one, Remy. As a parent, watching Remy grow and learn has been a constant source of joy and motivation. It was during those early years of exploration and discovery that I realized the importance of engaging, educational activities in fostering a lifelong love for learning.

Remy's curiosity and enthusiasm for the world around them have taken my passion to the next level. I wanted to create educational activities that are not only fun but also tailored to meet the unique needs of young learners. Drawing from my professional background as a long-time preschool teacher and nanny, as well as my personal experiences as a parent, our activities are designed to be interactive, engaging, and effective in supporting early childhood development.

Everything is done in my home office located in Tampa, Florida. From designing on paper, the 3D modeling, to printing, binding, packaging, and shipping, every step of the process is handled by me personally.

We like to joke that our products are all "Made in the USA".

While I often refer to "us" when discussing my business, the truth is that I am the solo operator handling the day-to-day tasks. However, I am not alone in this journey. Behind every decision and action is a team of loved ones who have been instrumental to the shops success. My wonderful husband, toddler (Remy), mother-in-law, and grandmother have all provided invaluable support and encouragement. Additionally, my friends who believed in me from the start have been a constant source of motivation.

Together, they form the unseen team that helps drive my business forward, even if they aren't directly involved in the operations. Their support and encouragement are what make it possible for me to continue creating engaging educational activities for your little ones!

We are committed to providing high-quality educational resources that inspire creativity, curiosity, and a passion for learning. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive in a supportive and stimulating environment. Our mission is to empower parents and educators with the tools they need to nurture young minds and foster a love for lifelong learning through play!

As my vision for educational resources evolved, I discovered the exciting potential of 3D printing to create these interactive and engaging learning tools, bringing my vision to life. Today, The Naptime Diaries is proud to be a 3D print shop dedicated to crafting fun, engaging, and eco-friendly educational products. 

10% of revenue is donated to a different children's charity at the end of each calendar month.

PRINTING ECO FRIENDLY PRODUCTS

The Naptime Diaries is harnessing the power of 3D printing technology to create engaging children's educational activities. This approach allows us to bring our creative ideas to life quickly and efficiently, ensuring that we can offer a wide range of educational products to support children's learning and development.

We love our planet, which is why we only use PLA (Polylactic Acid) in our 3D printing process. PLA is an eco-friendly, biodegradable material derived from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane. Unlike traditional plastics, PLA breaks down naturally over time, reducing its environmental impact. By choosing PLA, we ensure that our educational activities are not only beneficial for children's learning but also kinder to our planet.

Initially, The Naptime Diaries was launched in April 2024, solely focused on digital downloads, offering a variety of educational printables that quickly gained popularity among parents and educators on the Etsy platform. As customers and followers told me how much these printables were making a positive impact on their children's learning experiences, I began to envision a broader reach. This feedback sparked the idea to expand beyond digital products, introducing physical educational items catering to a wider range of learning needs. 

In June of 2024, I launched The Ultimate Bundle which quickly became very popular. With new content added monthly, the bundle took the guesswork out of finding activities for your little one. Each carefully crafted activity is created to nurture crucial skills.
